Refund policy
Returns
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it—unused, with all parts included, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, contact us at info@nstarscientific.com If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. If the item is damaged/used/unsealed upon return, the return may be denied or a restocking fee may apply. Customers may be responsible for return shipping. (unsealed parts bag in 3D printing kits will not be eligible for a refund)
(3D printing digital files are non refundable)
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. You have 30 days of warranty for defective/missing parts. Any requests beyond that will be handled at our discretion.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including:

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have (if eligible), and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Returning an item to reorder with a discount will NOT be allowed and your order will be canceled!
International Orders
International customers may request a return within our standard return window; however, all international customers are responsible for covering return shipping costs, unless the item was defective or sent in error. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification. Your item must be returned in the same condition that you received it—unused and in original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you if the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved, please contact us at info@nstarscientific.com
