Upgrade Kit

This option is available to upgrade your telescope to the new design to utilize the new features. For anyone who purchased the 3D printed files and has a 3D printer you will have access to the newest parts for free and can re-print them. If you purchased a build kit or assembled telescope these are your following options for an upgrade kit. The upgrade kit will come with all new 3D printed parts with heat inserts installed as well as any additional hardware (minimal) needed for the upgrade. These upgrade kits do NOT include mirrors or extrusions, only the 3D printed parts with heat inserts installed and a few additional screws to complete the upgrade. Please follow the directions below carefully to order an upgrade kit for your telescope.

1: Telescope Only:

This option you will receive all the new 3D Printed parts with M3 and M6 heat inserts installed with a few additional screws for the upgraded version. To complete the upgrade please use all the previous hardware and mirrors from your previous Travel Telescope.

2: Telescope and Tripod:

This will include all of the parts in the "Telescope Only" upgrade kit as well as the updated 3D printed tripod parts. The full upgrade kit is highly recommended if your tripod isn't similar to the most up to date version. (please refer to render product photos)

Important Notes:

• This is a 3D-printed product, so minor imperfections may be present.
• Orders will be shipped out as soon as possible. Parts may occasionally be out of stock, please be patient. 3D printed parts require longer fulfillment time.

Safety Warning: NEVER LOOK AT THE SUN EVEN WITH SOLAR FILTERS! (Open telescope designs should not be used for solar observing)!! Metal bars may be sharp, handle with caution. Daytime use is not recommended due to Sun reflections (exception is if a full light shroud cover is installed)! The mirror concentrates light, always store carefully with lens caps on and away from direct sunlight. Always be careful of sunlight reflections due to open telescope design. Small parts chocking hazard. The focuser is pre lubricated with a commercial dry spray on lubricant.
