Many other kits include too few components and are made to build something specific, this kit equips you with many different components with all you need to learn about electronics.
Good stuff feels like the same kits that used to be sold by radio shack back in the day other then that shipping was clean and box was in good shape upon dilevery kids are injoying it if i coukd change something on this kit it woukd be the voltmeter its on the cheaper side and probes feel a little too cheap

There are many things contrary to the websites descriptions of my kit. The website advertises 1000 microfarad capacitors and I didn’t receive any in my bundle, the highest I have are 470 microfarad ones, my multimeter broke almost immediately after use, I didn’t receive any of the gate circuits, and none of the transistors are labeled/ missing transistor types.
Overall, flimsily low quality items mixed with false advertising.
The electronics learning kit is really awesome! I have had some prior experience with electronics, and this kit is a great way to refresh my knowledge and apply it to some projects. When you have completed the guide which is provided, I had so much extra components which has turned out to be a blessing for my projects. It's so nice to have all the basics to prototype.

I really enjoyed this electronics kit. I wasn’t very confident with building circuits or understanding the basics at first, but after getting this kit from a friend, it’s been a fun and engaging way to learn with my cousin.
In college I experimented with electronics to build simple robots and other side projects. Since graduating and working as a software engineer for several years, I found it very refreshing to revisit that interest I had. This kit honestly had pretty much everything I needed to get back into working with electronics, and made me want to revisit some of the ideas I had in the past. I'd definitely recommend this kit to anyone who has interest in technology. Even for fields like software engineering, I think many of the concepts taught with a kit like this (boolean logic, troubleshooting, etc.) are invaluable.
This kit was an excellent opportunity to get some hands on experience with circuitry. As an engineering student I have not yet gotten to the point in my curriculum where I’ve had hands on experience with electronics. This was an awesome way to put some of my classroom knowledge to use in a real world setting! I would recommend this to anyone trying to learn!
Even as a student studying aerospace engineering, I have had little experience working with circuitry. This kit was a very nice introduction to how basic circuits work and how simple they can be. The kit also taught me some challenges that come from being in the real world, like needing to learn about pull-down resistors. The kit provided me with everything I needed and even more for some more complex circuits. I would recommend this kit for anyone wanting to start learning about electronics, because of the completeness and value of the kit.
This is a super cool electronics kit that's well thought out to teach you the fundamentals of circuitry and electrical engineering. As a beginner, the concepts presented a fun challenge, and the detailed learning guide with images really helped me understand everything better. It's a very comprehensive kit that includes the components necessary to build a wide variety of circuits. The breadboards make it super easy since you don't have to solder anything. Purchasing all the components on your own would be a lot of work and cost more, so the kit really helps provide everything you need at a great price. I would definitely recommend it to anybody wanting to learn more about circuitry and electrical engineering!
As a student in Mechanical engineering this wiring kit was super fun to use! It is perfect for learning the basics of circuits but there is also so many different things you can do with it. Definitely the more creative of the two kits out right now! I also really enjoyed the step by step pictures for each different thing you can do with the kit!

I got this breadboard kit a couple of months ago. The instruction manual was very informative but easy to understand. Each step had pictures, explanations, and little tips that helped me understand why things worked, not just how to put them together.
There were a ton of parts in the kit, too. Resistors, LEDs, wires, switches, buzzers— it had everything I needed. Having so many pieces meant I could try different circuits without running out of anything, which made experimenting more fun.
If you’re doing anything with electronics for school or want to learn how circuits work, this kit is definitely worth it.
My teenage son received this kit as a Christmas present, and it was a huge hit! He had so much fun exploring all the different components—there are a lot of pieces, which kept him engaged and experimenting for a long time. What I appreciated most was how much he learned and gained confidence in his skills. The way the instructions were presented made it easy for him to understand how or why things worked the way they did. He loved experimenting with changes as he swapped out or added elements. It’s the perfect mix of hands‑on fun and real learning. I highly recommend it for anyone who likes to build, tinker, or figure out how things work.
Wow, how fun! I have never done any electronics of any kind and so I followed the step by step learning guide. I figured it out in about 30 min and am now smarter for it.
Good electrical kit. It came with a lot of components which is nice. The manual also has a lot of useful information in it and was helpful in getting started. It is not that pretty but everything you need can be found inside. My only grip would be the price I think $75 is a bit expensive but besides that its a great kit.
I got to my hands on this kit a couple of weeks ago, needless to say it was a great boost for giving me experience in hands on engineering from what I am used to at my high school. Getting to learn concepts from resistors to boolean logic was really cool and felt like this was put together with passion and very educational. After getting through the content of this kit, I have also been able to use it with other fun applications, more specifically an Arduino. I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone wanting to explore the basics of electrical engineering or just play around with different circuits.
I not only used the kit to learn more about making circuits, but having the parts for other side projects was super helpful. The components can be used for a wide array of circuits and other cool projects, and the guide clearly laid out how to do them. Excited to keep using this kit and hopefully more will come out soon!
As someone who previously had little to no knowledge about how circuit boards and wiring worked, I found this breadboard electronics kit to be the perfect way to break into learning the basics of circuitry. I love the idea of the kit and enjoyed the hands-on learning experience. I also appreciate how beginner-friendly it was to learn about building a circuit and how each individual component works together. After using this kit from North Star Scientific, I now have a much better understanding of how circuitry works at a basic level. Being a visual learner, I found the learning guide to also be very helpful and easy to follow along with. I liked how the building process was separated into individual steps with pictures to help show me what my breadboard should look like and where everything should go. For anyone interested in learning about circuitry, I would highly recommend using this kit! It has all the parts you need to build various types of circuits and is a great way to purchase these components rather than trying to buy them all individually.
